Customers Reviews 2010-02-10 Owned three and never had any problems...even reaches long distances. These wireless adapters for xbox work great. I am on my third and I never have any problems even on the far end of the house in the basement. Great product that is reliable and effective. | 2010-01-17 Alright, kept droping my signal I bought this product at another store, (see I could have bought cheaper here now), works great, (most of the time). Was able to download games from Xbox Live, but when playing 1 vs. 100, with 2 people, we kept getting booted.
Not sure if it's my wireless network, (others were net surfing on laptops at the time), or the position of the game system, (less than 50 feet away), so I bought an Ethernet Cable here, and played all night long with not getting booted, (and paid WAY LESS of the price of this or the black wireless adapter). |

Microsoft Prepares Touchwall Low-Cost Solution Russ Burtner, Microsoft user experience designer, tests out TouchWall right before CEO Summit with Bill Gates' Wednesday keynote. The touch screen is the research prototype with 4 feet by 6 feet dimensions.
If you watched CNN's election coverage lately, you should have noticed the channel's Magic Wall touchscreen. So Microsoft came up with it’s own board version - a Surface flipped on its side and mounted. The TouchWall combines finger-friendly prototypes by Microsoft Research, as well as a spherical unit to be used mainly for world domination campaigns.
The wall uses a rear-mounted camera and not expensive infrared sensors with the capability of adding to a various surfaces, thus creating the hands-on experience. It is meant to be a low cost intelligent whiteboard solution, and maybe they'll be used in small businesses, offices, or schools.
Microsoft didn’t provide any details about when TouchWall will be available commercially |
