great with iPhone!
Works like it's supposed to if you don't care about voice dialing, though on that score, I gave up pretty fast. To get your contacts into the minikit you need a blue tooth enabled *computer* (which I haven't got) since the iPhone's bluetooth only works with phone calls, not data transfer. But that aside, it's a fine product well worth the 50 bucks or so.

Works Great When It Works
I was very happy with this when I purchased it and it was so easy to setup. Forget about recording key words and such, that is a royal pain, just use the voice recognition in the phone.

Everything worked just fine until I figured out this unit only stays on for 5 minutes at a time, then just shuts off, even if I am on a call or connected. I went online and figured that others were having this problem and they said to reset the unit by pushing on the button on the back of the unit. I did this several times, but, the problem just kept coming back. I wanted to send the unit back, but, they would only take back the unit and send me another one.

I won't do that, I don't want the same problem again since others were having this problem, chances were good that I would get the problem back again.

I went ahead and bit the bullet and invested in the Parrot 3200 LS Color, Bluetooth® hands-free car kit with a color TFT LCD 262, 144 colors. Caller ID photo display, hi-fi ringtones, color wallpapers. Mobile phone book synchronization. Voice recognition for easy dialing.

Had it professionally installed and done right. This other unit is really great, works like a charm. Mutes the radio when a call comes in or when you make a call. All you have to do is press a button and you can give it a voice command to call whoever is in your phone's address book.

More expensive, but, worth it. I believe that this unit will work, problem free, for a long long time to come.

If you do get the Parrot Mini-Kit and you get lucky and it does NOT turn off by itself at odd times, you will enjoy it.

Pros for the Mini-Kit:

Good clear sound, both incoming and outgoing.
Easy to use.
Voice recognition works pretty good.

Cons:

Have to reset the unit too often, and fumble with having to turn the unit on when it turns itself off, that defeats the purpose of the hands free.

Have to turn on the unit when you get back into the car, every time.

Cannot tell if the unit is ON or OFF by looking at it. The lights are way too dim, need a brighter "Green" and "Red" light to tell if on or not.

Works great
Bought one for my wife and it worked great so I bought a second for myself. The second one did not have much volume when turning it on and when using voice recognition I could barely hear the phone prompts. Once connection to a called phone was made it would then be normal volume.
If I had not had the first Parrot I would not have known that this was not correct and would have been very disappointed.
I returned it and got another, it works as good or better than my wifes. Loud, clear speech from my cell, excellent volume on calls and every one on the other end says it is very loud and clear. No problem using or hearing it at freeway speeds, in fact I had to turn the volume down a bit from full. The law now requires we use a hands free unit when in our cars and I can definitely recommend the Parrot for those who need hands free or just want hands free.

Great Hands-Free Unit
I've had this minikit for about a month now. I was initially concerned about its ability to pair with the iPhone, but did it almost too easily! It was very quick to locate and lock onto the iPhone. I share this unit with others, so you do have to "unpair" the phone from the minikit before switching to another phone. (Don't just turn off the minikit and turn it back on again. Go into the phone's bluetooth pairing menus.)
Otherwise, build is good, volume is very good, even when driving down the road in a noisy car. The only thing that is lacking is probably a screen to see who is calling so that I don't have to pick up the phone and see myself. I heard you can use this to voice activate who you would like to call, but the iPhone does not offer this. (Not a beef with Parrot, but with Apple.) I would recommend this to anyone needing a hands-free device and not wanting to look like a geek with a bluetooth thing sitting in their ear all the time.
