Customers Reviews 2008-09-03 Broke after a week These headphones are very flimsy. The earphone came off the plastic stem in less than a week. I can't judge the sound quality, because it busted so quickly. The fit over the ear was uncomfortable. The price was good. I got less value out of it than other cheap headphones, though. | 2008-09-02 Great bang for your buck Great, loud, crisp sound for the price. The removable clips are pretty cheap, though, and if bent too much, they can warp and never fit well again. Bearable for most active lifestyles (the cord is a good length). Again, don't play with the clips too much and you'll be fine. | 2008-08-27 Awesome I had heard a lot of good things about these earphones; that they're the best in the price range, etc. and all these critiques are correct! Totally worth the $16 price tag.
When I first got them, and wore them, they were really just "normal" like most other headphones in the price range. Of course, I knew that they needed time to burn in. Being as impatient as I was I just left my music player plugged in and had it on shuffle for a day and a few nights. After around 50 hrs of music having played through these, the music sounds great; They amaze me whenever I'm listening at the rich sound they produce while I'm riding in the car or just away from home; these are great portables. | 2008-08-18 Aaargh! These headphones are incredible. They sound amazing, they fit well, and they're cheap. BUT, those stupid little ear clips are detachable. They always fall off in my bag, and then I can't tell which ear is left and which is right. Plus, I've lost two sets of ear clips in one year. I give up. | 2008-08-13 Great Value, Comfort and Performance I bought these a few days ago based on the amazon reviews and would also recommend these phones for anyone, based on:
Price: can't get any cheaper lets face it!
Comfort: the most comfortable I have used, very light on the ears, I don't have any problems with the design it is just what I have been looking for - non invasive, soft, no bulky cans on your head, the clips you can gently move around a bit for your best fit say if you need them on a bit tighter, you really don't know they are there - perfect!.
Performance: I love music and they sound just fine to me, nice bass and treble, very clear, do not sound cheap or tinny and a much nicer sound overall than the white phones that came with my ipod.
General: also has a handy volume control on the wire. nice solid 90 degree plug. Hard to fault. A high quality audiophile version with similar design and lightness but say around $150 - that would be tempting too!! |
