- Apple Delays Movie Rental Upgrade. At MacWorld Expo last month, Apple CEO Steve Jobs promised that an upgrade of the Apple TV software to allow online movie rentals would be available by the end of January.
- Breaking News: Warner Moves To Blu-ray Exclusively. Warner will continue to support both HD DVD and Blu-ray through May of 2008, but Warner will support only Blu-ray Disc starting in June of 2008.

- Gizmodo presents a gallery of digital cameras that appeared thanks to PMA 2008, the year’s biggest camera show. PMA 2008 hosts photo retailers, professional photographers, mass merchandisers, professional labs, custom picture framers, scrapbook retailers and event videographers from around the world. PMA 2008 takes place in Las Vegas.

Hitachi DZ-BD90 Hits Japan. Hitachi is going to release its 60GB HDD camcorder in Japan (on 3rd March), which is equipped with 5.3M CMOS image sensor and a 2.7-inch LCD monitor. It can record full HD video with 1,920 x 1,080 resolution for nine hours.
