I won’t say it is not the most attractive TV ever seen, because technological solutions can really fascinate nowadays. It has the usual standard silvery plastic cover for those who get used to the old-fashioned silver color. The price was set to $799.95, but is it really worth that price? The Z17LZ5R doesn’t boast a built-in HDTV tuner. Yeah, any TV can hardly come with it, but it’s time to set up lots of features ever possible for some intrigue at last. The Z17LZ5R does have an HD-capable resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, so the best you can get is 720p.
Zenith gets its displays from LG and they gained a reputation for making solid, well-priced flat screen displays. That’s for sure that the best picture quality is offered by a Philips or a Sony, but you will have to spend a bit more money, and satisfaction is yours with the Z17LZ5R anyway. Although some ghosting was noticed on low-end LCD panels.
The specifications are really in the middle of the range:

Z17LZ5R comes with a VGA port, if you would like to connect it up to a computer system. Also there are RCA audio and PC audio inputs, as well as S-Video, Component Video, coax and some standard rear inputs. Unfortunately there are no DVI or HDMI inputs, but VGA port adds some flexibility. But you’d better buy something else if you would use it as a computer monitor.

Sony Ericsson today, 23 April 2008, introduced two new HSDPA mobile phones for web browsing in London, UK. Each phone is designed for a web-enabled range of phones, but with a little difference. The Z780 is served for markets outside of Europe and G502 reveals web opportunities to a mainstream audience.
The Z780 has tri-band 3G and HSDPA in a stylish clamshell frame, allowing you to receive email or browse the web sufficiently in countries around the globe. It also introduces built-in aGPS for navigation.
The new G502 preserves the line of classic Sony Ericsson affordable, pocket-sized phones.But this is the first model to feature high-speed HSDPA capability for faster browsing and downloading capabilities with easy-to-use interface.
Both Z780 and G502 is supplied with the latest version of Google™ Maps, the application, that allows you to view maps with satellite view or listings of the hotels and bars. Maps combined with aGPS may give you turn-by-turn directions in complicated situations.
An easy-to-follow set-up wizard guide helps you set up webmail account in both phones. Browsing websites is four times faster than with standard 3G (UMTS), due to the HSDPA speeds. The selection of an RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed will access your favorite site in one 1-click from your phone’s desktop. Here’s also pre-loaded weather forecast application to check the weather before moving out.
Z780 (92 x 49 x 16 mm) comes with UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900/2100, the 2.2-inch screen of 320 x 240 pixels and GSM/GPRS/EDGE.
The Z502 (109 x 46 x 13.5 mm) will be with UMTS/HSDPA 2100, the 2-inch screen of 240 x 320 pixels and GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800/1900 radios.
Both gadgets will feature Bluetooth, 2 megapixel cameras, M2 memory expansion.The Z780 and the G502 mobile phones will be available in the second quarter of 2008.

Canon XL H1S And XL H1A Digital Video Camcorders
Canon, a leader in digital technology, has succeeded in its high definition HD XL series and now introduces XL H1S and XL H1A high definition digital video models with new advanced features for professional cameramen.
The new XL H1S and XL H1A feature Canon 20x HD Video Lens with zoom, focus and iris for manual adjustments. The lens system offers aspherics for reducing flare,
fluorite elements to decrease chromatic aberration, and Super Range Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) to correct camera shake. In addition, cameras use HDV tapes – the most affordable video digital media for shooting prolonged occasions, such as wedding or film making.

The new XL H1S and XL H1A HD camcorders are carefully designed for professional producers, cinematographers, and know how to benefit the best quality of Canon HD videocams. No wonder that Canon’s consumer camcorders gained number one position until sales above 200$ in January and February.
