Helios Tree Uses Solar Power To Charge Your Device
No one can live without energy power produced from burning fossil fuels, the main cause of greenhouse gasses. And that’s not good for the environment and economy. The solution is to use the clean energy that does not harm the environment.
Interestingly, only 7% of total world energy is renewable.
Solar energy is the main source energy for all earth inhabitants. Plants make sugars from it and thus get power for growth. The solar power is much greater than the current global energy consumption.
Helios Power Tree has leaves made from thin solar cells. Through the branches and trunk cells are linked to a large battery at the tree’s base. The battery charges only from solar power, and then powers blue lights glowing around the tree. Besides the beauty, it can charge any of your USB-powered devices through a hub at the tree’s base using the solar energy that it collects.
The Solar Charge Controller regulates voltage: the solar cell circuit charges battery when energy conversion is optimum. The Arduino Micro Controller monitors light with photocell sensor. When it senses that it’s night, the lights on the tree turn on, as well as a cricket ambient sound.
