Comfortable Surf Chair Maintains Healthy Back
It’s not very hard to sit upright, facing the monitor, for hours throughout a day and also keep a healthy back. But since my job includes surfing the internet, I have to focus on obtaining an ergonomically designed work station and keep the healthy back.

When you mention the Surf Chair, your mind imagines relaxing lazing chairs on beach fronts. Almost, as this chair is used to surf the net with comfort and joy. The chair is designed by Kenneth Lylover for the competition held at the Scandinavian Furniture Fair, where this tremendous gadget also won the price of the best product.
The chair is quite comfortable, as it is fitted with soft pillows to cosset every part of the body.
The monitor can be smartly suspended in front of you by this work station. However the mouse and keyboard are supposed to be put on your lap. And where is some kind of folding tray fitted in?
This Surf Chair is really simple and straight-thinking, enough to maintain a good posture and pleasant mood.
The Programmable SkyCeiling That Heals
The Sky Factory developed Programmable SkyCeilings, which simulate the setting and rising of the sun. And that’s not all: in addition, it has an application to regulate circadian rhythm.
The Programmable SkyCeiling imitates an enhanced illusion by introducing changes of color and light in real-time. You can increase and decrease light intensity and color for simulating the local sunrise and sunset - even following the seasons. The subtle control of a small computerized control-device can program any geographic area.
The Programmable SkyCeiling may also heal considering the body’s circadian rhythms. It was discovered that deterioration of dementia can be slowed down by 5% while using the body’s natural cycle and light therapy. The virtual skylight is supposed to cope with other neurological diseases, as most of them are linked with the decay in circadian rhythm. Interestingly, SkyCeilings is already proved to be producing significant benefits.

The SkyCeilings’ programmed dimming feature enhances ascetic appeal and benefits to human physiology, like the reinforcement of body’s circadian rhythm to help healing, or creating an environment of alertness in the middle of the night.
Sky-Lighting consists of full-spectrum 6500 Kelvin light and accurate graphic information, and thus adds dimension of real-time. Then the bi-color SkyCeiling is enhanced by a Digital Addressable Lighting Interface controlled light source that features the color of sunset and sunrise, or, if you wish, the beautiful theatrical moonlight. The system control can be manual or accomplished by a smart system technology or personal computer.
Teddy Bear Navigates Your Car, Detects You Drunk
Engineers at iXs Research Corporation introduced an amazing robotic teddy bear that was designed to be a talking car navigation system. The model of a robot is pretty tall - 30 centimeters (1 ft), and possesses six joints in its arms and neck for making gestures while producing spoken directions.
The robot bear has the functions to improve auto safety, like an alcohol detection sensor implanted in its neck. If it smells that you are drunk , the robot warns the driver and this way may prevent the unwanted accidents. Other sensors catch wreckless driving. The robot says “Watch out!” if the driver accelerates or slams on the brakes.
When you stroke its head, the robot bear also gives information about the nearest landmarks.
The company believes that the robot will be commercially available next year. The intentions are to make it more compact and to offer a wide range of shapes, including a plain mechanical version and other characters.
Although Fujitsu has the unique patent on the idea of getting car navigation systems with dolls, it has permitted iXs Research Corporation to use this patent through a Kawasaki-area project and this way show to major corporations the good example how to share intellectual property rights with minor companies.

How To Make The Cheapest Photo Gadget Yourself
If you are going whale watching or simply making photos on the boat, in the museum, you will face the need to get the sharpest photos possible. A tripod is no good as it is not easy to manage on a boat. You’ll have to move the tripod and swing the camera around as some fish appears out of the water.
Best advice is to make the simplest and cheapest self-made photo gadget you have ever encountered - a string tripod.
Just imagine joining one end of a string to your cam, and the other end straight to the ground. As you pull the cam up and the string gets taut, the camera is stabilized.
The string is very cheap, you may keep it in your pocket, and the sharpness of photos will be increased dramatically. It can be a lifesaver in some unusual situations, like in a museum or on a boat, while practicing soccer, just anywhere you don’t want a traditional tripod to be weighed down.
So first of all you need a length of string to be affixed to the bottom of the cam; some attach it to a tripod mount or a 1/4-inch bolt. The other end you tie into a loop that is slipped around the foot. A cheap tripod quick-release plate is on sale almost in any camera shop if you don’t have one.
Now it’s shoot-time. Just slip your foot right through the loop and then screw up the bolt into the bottom tripod mount of the cam. The camera should be at eye level when the string is taut. It’s not a problem if it is too long, just wrap it around your foot or loop off a piece of line with a knot.
The string reduces the up-down vibration and allows the rotation to the left or right. Maybe it looks a bit goofy, but it works. Just try it out!
