40-Foot Big LED Screen TV Outdoors At A Show, Biggest Ever
Big Moving Pictures Inc. (BMP), a rolling television network, signed a unique agreement according to which the production of the largest mobile LED screen displays will be triggered.

Those megascreens will be under 40 feet wide by 22 feet high. And that is more than 40% larger than current screens. They are the first big screen LED tv displays to provide full HDTV resolution outdoors. So the hope is lost to play games on it.
The largest events in the United States and Canada will be provided with such big TV screens to enhance the audience experience at air shows or open-wheel auto races.
Basically, the brightest Light-Emitting-Diode (LED) technology combined with the biggest and most powerful screen solution is an evolution of the video display systems, already used in stadium rock concerts.
40 percent bigger and 200 percent brighter, big screens will be able to withstand rigors of tough environment, like airways, oceanfront pierce and be placed in the water to bare water flow and high winds.
The Big Moving Pictures developed a true HD display for ultra-bright and contrast viewing at an outdoor event, using the 720P high definition standard supported by such respectful broadcast networks as ABC, Fox, or ESPN, where better imaging for sports is essential.
MEGASCREENS weigh 66,000 pounds and are hydraulically operated and trailer-mounted for rapid deployment and maximum portability.
The time from arriving onsite to displaying video is estimated to be an hour, done by a single technician.
Image area sizing of 39.4′ wide x 22′ high in 16:9 aspect ratio will be used for 720P HDTV signals.
Digital laser-based microwave or fiber optic cabling systems will accomplish HD transmission to the screen.
Brightness range will be up to 10,000 NITS with 15 mm LED element pitch.
Sharp Cable-Free HDTVs Broadcast Signal Wirelessly
Sharp came up with a wireless option to its thin X-series LCD displays. Sharp will combine Amimon Wireless High Definition Interface WHDI 1080p wireless tech with its thinnest flat panels. From now on, you don’t have to connect cables to your TV.
Sales will start first in Japan and soon in the U.S. Really good news is that this technology comprises wireless HDMI broadcasting signal capabilities with perfect outlook. It works a 100 feet distance and can go through four or five walls. The signal was perfect with no difference between the WHDI and a wired HDMI signal. But the wireless opportunity will add about $800 to already expensive $4,000, plus 46-inch Sharp X-Series HDTV.
That price is just for beginning, later wireless HDTV with a 100-foot distance will be much more affordable. Sony, Belkin, Sanyo and now Sharp are on board, and there is not much time left for WHDI to be everywhere.
AMIMON has a technology, capable of transferring uncompressed HD video streams wirelessly. No need to connect audio-video cable between separate tuner unit and TV panel. WHDI tech uses a unique video-modem approach with a range over 30 and latency of less than one millisecond.

Dr. Yoav Nissan-Cohen, who is a chairman and CEO of AMIMON, said: “With AMIMON’s WHDI technology, consumers can enjoy wireless ultra-thin TV displays that are easy to install and easy on the eyes. WHDI is becoming the technology of choice for wireless HDTV “.
New Sharp X-series models come in 37-, 42-, 46-inch display sizes and are 3.44 cm thick. This series has a discrete component configuration to separate the screen section from the tuner section, and the two sections may be connected with a cable or by using an alternative wireless video transmitter unit with the AMIMON’s WHDI technology.

Zenith LCD Flat Panel TV For Future Through Standards
Zenith is focused mainly on digital future and has 82 years of heritage of leadership in home entertainment products. And now Zenith came up with something new and interesting - Z17LZ5R 17-inch widescreen high-definition LCD flat panel TV, and here are some clues to share with you.
I won’t say it is not the most attractive TV ever seen, because technological solutions can really fascinate nowadays. It has the usual standard silvery plastic cover for those who get used to the old-fashioned silver color. The price was set to $799.95, but is it really worth that price? The Z17LZ5R doesn’t boast a built-in HDTV tuner. Yeah, any TV can hardly come with it, but it’s time to set up lots of features ever possible for some intrigue at last. The Z17LZ5R does have an HD-capable resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, so the best you can get is 720p.
Zenith gets its displays from LG and they gained a reputation for making solid, well-priced flat screen displays. That’s for sure that the best picture quality is offered by a Philips or a Sony, but you will have to spend a bit more money, and satisfaction is yours with the Z17LZ5R anyway. Although some ghosting was noticed on low-end LCD panels.
The specifications are really in the middle of the range:
- 450 cd/m2 brightness
- 400:1 contrast ratio
- 25m pixel response time
- a wide viewing angle at 178 degrees
Z17LZ5R comes with a VGA port, if you would like to connect it up to a computer system. Also there are RCA audio and PC audio inputs, as well as S-Video, Component Video, coax and some standard rear inputs. Unfortunately there are no DVI or HDMI inputs, but VGA port adds some flexibility. But you’d better buy something else if you would use it as a computer monitor.
