If it seems to have not enough space for you, there is another zipper, stretching across the top and all the way up each side of the bag. So you can unzip this and thus get approximately 3 inches.

A nice feature is the outer mesh net for a jacket or bike helmet. When you don’t use this net, store it in a small bottom pocket. Several reflective strips with a horizontal, nylon strap make a good rear bike light.
