The build-in 2.0M Pixel cam will generate high quality pictures for multipurposeful usage. Bluetooth, 512m TF card Triband support, option for various languages and more are the additional relevant features. It works with AT&T, T-mobile or other GSM carriers.

It is cool to own wrist watches that include cell phone features. Maybe some of you think that it makes more sense to use a simple cell phone than a watch as a cell phone. But imaging yourself to be a James Bond, spying around and talking to your wrist.
medium_2470288771_7e87a2ffba_o.jpgThe EP2502 cell phone seems to be ahead of its competitors (iPhone?), though it may look ridiculous. Or perhaps it is more attractive than it may seem. Featuring an OLED touch screen, tri-band support, a 2 M pixel cam, Bluetooth and even waterproofing, it is coming out in a few days for $250, which is pretty reasonable.
Even if you don’t want to seem ridiculous while shouting at your wrist watches in the street, it may function as wearable video conferencing device, which is really convenient.

New Mozilla Mobile Internet Browser Update

For those who get used to Opera or Webkit, it’s time right to pay attention to Mozilla 3 Fennec, the new Mozilla mobile internet browser update. Their mobile initiative began last October, and now they are making functional steps to world browser domination. Fennec, the codename of pre-alpha mobile Firefox browser, was tested accurately and showed great results (5,9 times faster) in comparison with Microb Nokia N810 Internet Tablet that dates back to the previous Firefox 3 alpha series. Memory usage was reduced and performance increased greatly.

fennec-bench.png

Tested with a number of websites, Fennec appeared to be more responsive and have a small memory footprint. Now Mozilla is working to create intuitive and versatile interface. One step towards this goal is Mozilla’s touchscreen mobile interface.

But that is just the early step of development and Fennec doesn’t count on mainstream use at this stage, and their functionality hasn’t impressed through the user interface yet. But Fennec has some impressive results that that show huge potential:

Jay Sullivan, Mozilla Mobile director, claimed that it is “just a starting point to give us a framework to start experimenting, doing performance tests.” His goal is to bring the Firefox desktop user experience to handheld devices. The key is “Web compatibility, security, performance, support for rich internet apps.”

fennec.png

Firefox user interface uses XUL, an XML-based user interface description language, which makes mobile browser very easy to customize and experiment with new mobile user interface ideas by modifying browser.xul file or browser.js file in JavaScript. Also the XUL technology can be easily used with a XUL Runner runtime to develop platform-neutral mobile applications that contain XML and JavaScript.

But that is just pre-alpha builds that are easy to modify and create with its code. Apparently this new Mozilla mobile internet browser update is an effective step to establish the development of Mozilla’s worldwide influence.
